NT accounts in AD

I have some people using Nt 4 Server and Workstation trying to emulate a customer’s network. They can get an IP connection to the internet, but those machines do not show up in the DNS. When trying to log onto the domain with any of the machines the error “The system cannot log you on to this domain because the system’s computer account in its primary domain is missing or the password on that account is incorrect”. I have manually made an entry for one of the machines to try it, but the same error occurs. Doing an “ipconfig /release and /renew” gets the machine an IP address, but still will not allow a logon to the domain.
