NT and modem install problem

I am having a problem with the installation of a U.S. Robotics 56k faxmodem and the WIN NT SmallBuisness Server, SP4, that I have at work. I am new to NT, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have installed the modem correctly into the PCI bus, and loaded the proper drivers, but I cannot connect through the remote computer. I cannot dial out to an ISP, but I can call an outside phone using Hyperterminal. I have gone through the Modem wizard for install and configured the RAS as directed by the setup after the computer says the modem has been installed, but it still doesn’t work. I know I am missing some easy step here, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
