NT and scsi

Nt 4.0 ws. two scsi cards. 1 for cd 2 for hp scanner. instals fine connect the scanner and boot up get BSOD. remoove the scanner bootup cd wont work. what is this? I have turned on the service I have all the updated driver. it works fine in other NTWS pc’s. I am pulling my hair out! please help
