NT authentication

I have several Windows9x pc’s and one NT workstation that authenticate to a remote AND local NT server. The NT workstation is the only terminal for which the remote server does not login – eventhough ALL pc’s logon with the same username. Even afteradding NetBeui to TCP/IP, I am ONLY able to login to the remote server as Administrator (I can login normally to the local server). The workgroup is the same as the domain name. What might be the problem?
