riddle me this batman:
i have novell and nt servers, users are logging into both, on CERTAIN users who are win9x (not all the 9x users) who need pw changes on both systems. novel goes fine (netware3.11) however changing the pw in user manager forNT:
if i leave the box UNCHECKED that forces them to change on their next login they get logged in w/ a temp pw fine, but when they go to chabge the pw (control panel/passwords/other passwords/microsoft networking) i get : “unable to change pw, incorrect pw”
if i CHECK the force pw, they are completely unable to login to the domain.
this is regardless of whether the user does the typing or i do the typing (hooray landesk).
i think its a security issue w/ the acct, security swears the acct is fine and that its just me, but i’m NOT the only one having the problem
any and all ideas would be appreciated
