NT File permisions

I am migrating files from a Netware system over to NT. In Netware, the permisions granted on subfolders of a mapping only allowed those users with proper rigths to view and edit files and folders. I have been able to establish adequate rights on NT, but users can see all subfolders within the share. Is there a way to set NT the same way I had in Netware?
