NT Installation

I have built a new computer and I am having trouble installing Windows NT 4.0 on the SCSI hard drive. For some reason, it seems that NT stalls once it begins to look at the system hardware.

Does anyone know of any issues regarding the installation of Windows NT 4.0 on a single SCSI hard disk? I’m not talking about a RAID assembly, only a single drive.

A friend of mine told me before that the best way to do this is to set NT up on an IDE drive and use the SCSI drive for storage. Does anyone know if this is true. If so, why?
