NT integration into Novell

We need to get 2000 user accounts into an NT domain. We currently use Novell NDS as our login point. We want to have a user log into Novell with their password and have the NT domain sync up with Novell on the fly. The problem is that when you authenticate to NT for the first time a user profile gets pushed down to the local machine named xxxx.oo1. This wipes out their old profile due to the new SID that NT uses. We need to sync passwords and NOT push down the new profile. We do use NDS for NT but on the first logon NDS for NT leaves the password in NT blank. I know this is somewhat confusing, its for a new SMS rollout.
