NT Logon Scripts not working on Win 98 ?

I have an logon script on an Domain that seems to be replicating fine, NT users pick it up fine and I see it on all the BDC in the right folders.
For Win 98 users the script isn’t even executing.
I would like for the script to work on both OS.
I’m also using variables 1 and 2 after the logon script name.
Nothing is in User Profile Path, local Path and connect is using U to connect to the users hidden home directory.
Any help would be appreciated if need more info let me know.
