NT Mirror problem

We had a nt sever that started to have memory dumps frquently then nearly constant. We had been using mirror set for raid. So we then tried to come up on the mirror drive and then got a no system files found. It could not boot on the mirror drive.. Can some one explain what happened.. Thanks
