NT Not able to register Modem

I have lost contact with my moden on a Windows NT workstation. I removed RAS and tryed to reinstall but not I get the message
“Windows NT was unable to register the modem “Creative Modem Blaster Flash56 DE5620-2″ on Com1 ” That is the correct modem it is on Com1, I even tryed it as a generic Modem. I used the modem yesterday and later I installed a external Parralell zip drive(I don’t know if that could cause it) What is up?
