Does any one have any suggestions for printing to a network printer in a remote LAN without a file server?
I currently have 19 remote sites (250 users)without any file servers, 3 regional sites with a file and print server, and 1 corporate site with several servers.
My remotes sites are connected via a 56K line so I want to avoid routing print jobs over the WAN. I also want to make client configuration as easy as possible. I don’t want users to have to configure IP addresses on printerports on their PCs. I don’t have any local tech support in any of the remote sites.
I have about 70 printers in the field that are printing Unix jobs. I’d like to utilize them for NT printing also.
Thanks,
Mark
