NT SERVER 4.0

I recently received a blue screen error requiring a new controller card driver for my server. I was able to rebuild or reload the NT4.0 with option pack 4. It now works but I was unable to create folders or files in the main drive or even in the desktop. What could have cause this problem. The system is not giving me any errors other than not able to create folders. By the way I can copy and erase.
