NT Server 4.0 running Exchange Svr 5.5

I am running Norton Antivirus for Exchange
monitoring software. I am receiving MAPI timeout error message when synchronizing offline on Win2000 OS. I have tried the work around for MS Article (Q264731) and it did not solve the problem. I trying to see if anyone else are having this problem and do you have a fix for it.
