NT Server Kbd and mouse not working

We have a NT server on a Dell power edge server. A user who is responsible for this server was working with their tech support and disabled a NIC and set it up to only use the second NIC of two intentionally.But after re-booting when the os is loaded there is no mouse pointer and no kbd response. The kbd does work in text mode, there is no ERD and the last known good did not fix the problem. What can I do to get the kbd and mouse to work again in the NT os?
