NT sudden shutdown

NT has been shutting down on and off for no apparent reason recently. I get a few errors in event viewer, with event id 5001, could not allocate resources necessary for operation.
I can’t find what that id means on Technet but i do know it’s one ofthe network cards. that card is a bridge onto another network, and it’s running a prxy server, but i have not had these problems until recently.
any help would be appreciated!
