I have 4 questions about Windows NT Workstation 4.0:
(1) Is it possible install NT 4.0 on a FAT32-formatted system already running Windows ME (so that I can dual-boot to either NT or ME)? Also, if this is possible, are the any fast and easy rules on how to do the NT 4.0 installation correctly (since as I said ME is already on the machine)?
(2) Does NT WS 4.0 support USB 1.1 devices?
(3) Assuming the NT/ME dual-boot setup is successful, will I be able to run programs in NT that I have already installed from ME? Also, if I have to reinstall the ME programs in NT, do I have to have create a separate installation folder than the ones I set up for ME? (For example, if I install Office 2000, do I need a folder like “C:\Windows\Program Files\O2K” for ME plus another folder called “C:\WINNT\Program Files\O2K” for NT so that I have to double the installation for each OS?)
(4) How easy or difficult is it to set up hardware devices under NT, since it does not support plug-and-play? Would a person new to NT be able to do it without major difficulties, for example?
