NT Workstation Server Service

I recently installed Windows NT SP4 on to a new hard disk. Now whenever I boot up I get a message stating that NT “Server” service failed to start due to not enough room on my hard disk. Yet the active partition has nearly 4 GB of space left on it. How much room does the server service need to run? Is there another setting I have forgotten?
