NT4/SBS – installing hard drive into new PC

I’ve been having a problem with a server running Small Business Server on NT4 and I want to put the hard drive into a newer machine without wiping it out. The only thing is, because it has different hardware, I haven’t been able to get it running. Does anyone know if it is even possible to do this. I thought it would be simple like Windows 98. Just put the hard drive in and let it detect the new hardware. But apparently not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
