ntbackup

I’m curently using ntbackup for only one server (Windows 2000 advanced server).. it backs up to a file, and when all is said and done, is about 5 gig. It backs up to a secondary hard drive on the same server, and has the .bkf extention. It seems about the right size, and I get no error logs after it backs up. But when I try to open it, it says “backup device failed”. I’m not sure what this means, since I’ve never had a backup device on that server, just backs up to a file..

any thoughts??
