Primary system drive C: (WinXP Pro) had NTFS partitioning as well as drive G: (external firewire 160GB Maxtor)
C: became corrupt and WinXP Pro “clean” reinstalled using FAT32
My Documents folder that resided on drive G: is now receiving error message:
“G:\My Documents is not accessible.”
“Access is Denied”
Properties of folder state Size 0 bytes, 0 Files/0 Folders
Contents of G: Drive show approx 35GB unaccounted for that used to be in this folder.
I desperatly need accessto this folder and its contents. Is there any way to gain access. I am logged in with administrator privilages and know my passwords but double clicking the folder results in the same error message. Right-clicking has the “make folder private” button deselected and not a live option (grayed out). Do I need third-party software to access this?
All other files/folders directly under G: root directory are accessible except this folder.
