We have a custom DOS app that has been working fine on some older “clone” NT4 Terminal Server machines, which basically just have a shortcut pointing to a Novell 3.12 server which stores the DOS app and data. We have now upgraded these to Compaq ML530’s, dual processor (2.4GHz) machines with 2GB RAM. The same app is loaded on a new Windows 2000 server and works fine on the terminal server console as long as it is in “full screen” mode. If I put the app into a window, it slows to a crawl. It also only crawls when I log into the TS from a client PC, no matter what I do. I have not been able to get to true “full screen” mode on the TS client,(I never needed to before, with the older equipment). Any ideas on settings, (registry or otherwise) would be appreciated so that I can get these new Terminal Servers into production.
