Obsolete SCSI hardware problems

Heres one for you hardcore ahrdware people…
I have an old box used for testing running Windows95 with an Adaptec SCSI card inside. During boot up the SCSI bios detects the various drives connected to the bus and the host. Windows is ahving a jip on me though as I cannot accsess these drives. According to my system tab on My Computer, the SCSI card is not installed, not present or has no drivers (CODE 10). This is for an adaptec AHA154/XAHA164X/AHA153 SCSI host by the way…
I got nothing on this, I tried installing the card again, updating the drivers and stillget the same CODE 10 error. ANy Input much appreicated. Thanks
