I have Office 2003 and today Outlook 2003 wanted to start Word as my default mailer. I followed a previous post and unchecked the box. However I cant get Norton antivirus to run and I cannot download MacAfee etc. Both Excel and Word 2003 open but not properly and need to be closed by the task manager as the screen message indicates they are not responding. Generally things are a bit slower. I did run a scan with the latest Stinger anti-virus but nothing was found. Oh one last thing when I go to close an unresponsive program it leaves a section of the programme still showing on the screen. BTW (very last thing) Java does not appear to be working properly either as it says I need an update but I know I don’t and after that it hangs. Anybody any suggestions I would really appreciate it.
