Office Printer Memory

I’m responsible for making the IT purchases for my office (10-15 people at current location). Currently, I’m researching color laser printers. However, I am confused as to the role of Installed Memory in these office printers. Is there any advantage to increasing the memory in the printer? What purpose would it serve?
