Office toolbar icons

On occasion, Office toolbar simply tweaks out and all the icons take on the look of one icon. For instance, mine all look like the Notepad Icon right now. This has happened on at least 4 of our 5 Pentium III networked computers. Removing the toolbar and replacing it doesn’t help. Removing icons and replacing them doesn’t help. Other than relaoding Office 97 each time this happens, is there a quick fix? And what is causing this? When it happens we are still able to open the programs, it’s simply a matter of moving the mouse along the bar so we can see what program the cloned icon really represents.
