Office XP Outlook issue

I just re-installed Outlook XP, and it was working fine yesterday, and today It will not even send or recieve. It does nothing when I hit the buttom. I tested the settings from the test settings button, and they work fine. I ahve it set to send and recieve on shutoff, and when i shut it down the send recieve window comes up, but does nothing. I did the detect and repair, but it corrected nothing.
