Win 2000 on HP Omnibook XE3.
The issue I face is closely linked with Microsoft Knowledge Base Article Q290523.

My MD, though he is connected to the network, often dials up to another server (which can be accessed only using dial-up).

All the network settings in his notebook is correct, I am able to ping, etc. I am also able to connect to the network, but the issue is that I am not able to connect/Map the N/w drives and all his files are not accessible as “Online”.

Any help to make himconnect to the network and restore his network mapping is warmly appreciated.
