Offline files disappearing?

I’ve implemented offline folder/files for our users.

Some of our xp users have encountered an issue of documents not showing up in their offline files directory after being created. We know that the file is still there as when we try to save the file again (after recreating it) we receive a message stating that the file exists do we want to overwrite it. However, the document is not viewable from the local cache or from the server.

We have a win2k server and a mixture of 2000 and xp clients. Offline file cache is set for manual.

I’d appreciate any suggestions that would help resolve this.
