Open File Dialog Boxes Dont See Shortcut

I often create shortcuts to folders on network drives and paste them into the folders that each program opens by default when ‘open file’ is selected. (Cuts down on the picking/clicking all day long).

Well, suddenly none of them are showing up! For example: I open notepad and select file, open. That brings up the open file dialog box and shows the files within ‘My Documents’. All of the shortcuts I’ve previously pasted into ‘My Documents’ or any other folder are not visible.

The Shortcuts are however still visible and usable within Windows Explorer.

This problem exists in all of my programs including Word, AutoCad, Ect…

If you figure this out I’ve got 3000 points to give you.
