Opening pics with MS Paint

Everytime I click on “File/Open” in MS paint the dialogue box defaults the “Files of type” to bitmap. Almost all the file I use are JPEG files, so I have to change this from BMP to JPEG everytime. Does anyone know how to change the default from BMP to JPEG?
