Operating System Not Found

Ok, let me start from the beginning. I was formating my HP computer and then a error popped up and the computer shut down. Now when I start up the computer it says Operating System Not Found! And HP doesnt come with recovery disks and I don’t have a Windows XP disk. Please help! I will supply more info on request.
