OppsLock

Hello all and thanks in advance for your help . . .

I have a client that is running NT4 servers and now has a company coming in to install the latest ACT version. They have requested that we disable OppsLock on the PDC. I have two questions:

1. – How do I do that?

2. – What are the risks associated.

A search opf technet comes up with nothing and I have stupidly “archoved my old Technet subscription CD’s.
