ordinal 6880 could not locate MFC42.dll

Trying to use ati multimedia center and get the following message: ordinal 6880 could not locate MFC42.dll in the dynamic link library. Reinstalled software, DirectX 8.1, replaced dll file, and uninstalled SP2 which was recently installed. None worked,any ideas?
