Outlook 2000 & Exchange Server 2000 SP2

Scenario:
Old Hard Drive(crashed – data lost)
domain name = LOCATION.COMPANY.COM
New Hard Drive(warranty replaced)
domain name = COMPANY.COM

When a user account was created on the server, the client laptop already had the profile on the machine. This created a PROFILE.COMPANY and will no long get to the original profile. Ordinarilly this would not be problem, but I am unable to access the outlook.ost file that was being used after the hard drive crashed. Even when I manually point to this file, it will not allow me access. How can I get into this file?
