Outlook 2000 saving messages

When replying to messages I would prefer to save the reply in the same folder where the message was stored. I have selected ‘Save replies with original messages in Advaned E-Mail options. I have deselected ‘Save copies of messages in Sent folder’ inE-Mail Options. In order to save replies in same folder, I need to check this box in Message Options before the reply is sent and select the folder.

How can I have the replied saved in the folder without selecting the message option every time?
