Outlook Express 6 forgets password

In James Detwilers’ article of March 7, 2002 “Keep Outlook from forgetting passwords”, he covered how to correct this problem in Win2k. i have the same problem with Outlook Express 6 running on Win 98 SE. Looking at the registry shows that the entries ar totally different from those shown in the article. How do I correct this problem under my circumstances?
