Outlook Express

Hi,
I’m running outlook express 5 and another computer with outlook express 4. I’m trying to prevent virus’s from spreading through the e-mail. When I look at a new message in my inbox is there away not to execute anything at the message I’m viewing. I would like just to view it and not have anything executing. I thought I heard of away to disable something but I can’t quite remember. Thank You
