Outlook Express store location

Is there a way to store the outlook express store folder on a network drive.

Outlook express store folder can be changed from tools–>options–>maintenance–>store folder.From here i can change the storage location to any of the local drives but when i select a network drive(for example my home drive on server)the option is greyed out.

Any registry hack/workaround available or is this a bug in outlook express.
