Outlook Scheduling

My colleague needs to schedule a reminder to send three e-mails for each event our company runs. The e-mails need to be sent 1 week before, 1 week after and 1 month after the event. At the moment we hold 30 events per month so my colleague has the tedious task of entering 90 reminders per month on Outlook’s calendar. Is there anyway that Outlook can calculate the dates of the reminders automatically if we enter the event date to reduce this workload? Alternatively, is there another solution outthere?
