Well, here is the situation:
Recent update to Office 2000 SR1 initiated by management installed Outlook Security Update as well. But one in our environment we NEED to send .mdb files to a lot of people.
Before the update these files were sent automatically but now they are blocked and I’m looking for the way to exclude mdb from Level 1 attachments list.
I’ve read a lot of info on TechNet on this problem and everything tells that only way to accomplish it is to set a security template andplace it to Top Level public folder “Outlook Security Settings”.
That would be OK, but the problem is that I don’t have access to top level at all! And won’t have… I control only one of numerous sites and not the largest one so no way they gonna give needed access.
So now I’m looking for some kind of registry hack, cracked .dll or whatever would let me set mdb to Level 2.
For now it worths 3000 points and may be I’ll raise the value.
In case there will be no solution I’ll try to choose the best answer(s) and accept them.
Thanx in advance,
Ivan
