Outlook toolbar problem

I removed something call Hotbar from PC which was some type of annoying spyware toolbar and am now not able to use any of the options on the ‘Formatting’ toolbar in Outlook when replying to or forwarding emails. Everything is greyed out. When creating new emails it all work fine and I’m able to use the Formatting toolbar. Is this anything to do with removing Hotbar or am I just missing something?
