I have an Exchange 5.5 mail server with the
Outlook web access feature enabled.
My problem is that the outlook web access client can not understand other language except english messages.
For example, I send a mail message using Outlook Express with Greek characters.
The Outlook web access client connects to the mail server (/exchange) and uses the typical interface to read the mail. But instead of greek characters he gets ?.????
questionmarks.
I thought that this is a conversion problem. I checked my email server and I saw that the Internet Mail Service Character sets were set to Western Europe (both MIME & non-MIME). I changed them to Greek ISO.
I tried again but I still have not succeeded in making the outlook web read greek characters. I get the ???..?? questionmarks.
My second move was to check client’s encoding. I set it to Greek ISO but also this did not work!!!
Maybe I have to install the GREEK SERVER LOCALE (I have installed only the englishLOCALE)
If I installed the GREEK LOCALE , does it mean that I will have also GREEK menus in the interface of the Outlook Web Access client program?
