OWA IE6 Crash

by steven_v_brown . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

I have 2 systems exhibiting similar problems running Outlook Web Access.

Server: Exchange 2000 Enterprise Server SP2

Client 1: Window NT 4.0 SP6, IE6 with latest patches
Client 2: Windows 2000 SP2, IE6 with latest patches

On Client 1, I amunable to get successfully in at all. When I start up,
the login screen appears and is OK’ed. Then a vertical grey line appears
(seperates the frames). This is followed by a popup windows which states:
“Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.”
It asks if I wish to send an error report. I then click for more
information and see the following:
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2600.0 ModName: datime.dll
ModVer: 6.1.9.727 Offset: 0001a818

On Client 2, it is an intermittent problem. Sometimes it works on the first
try. Other times it takes multiple tries before I am able to get in
successfully. But, the symptoms are the same…the frames partially load
and then IE crashes.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,
