P4 1.4GHz Intel Original M/B

My above system with RD RAM of 64×2 MB D850GB original Intel mother board is not accessing floppy drive. I repeatedly installed floppy controller from the mainboard system. Often it says disk not formatted or it won’t read at all.
Any solutions please?
