packard bell

I recently worked on a packard bell computer in which the power supply was very dusty. I cleaned it out as well as doing a complete system install. Now the person says the computer shuts off every 45 minutes exactly. is this some kind of cmos setting I cannot find it.(not a powersaving mode)
