For no apparent reason, I have started getting a virtual memory error when OS starts (reboot or simple logoff/logon)
When checking on Page file allocations it shows me 20 MB allocated and it will not change no matter what settings I enter. The initial size is set for 192 MB. Max for 384 MB. Recommended size 190 MB. There is plenty of drive space. temppf.sys is creating a 133.256 KB page file Tech Support at Dell had no idea what was causing this. I did notice in the System logs that three services failed to start at Boot load.. dmisrv, win32sl, and Task Scheduler.. All list error 5 access denied. They will not start manually either. I do not know if there is any relationship between these errors and page file size problem
All suggestions are welcome
