Page file size

We are having One WIndows NT server. We had three partition on that machine. Each had 4GB. WHenever we are working on that machine it says “Your machine is running low virtual memory, Free up some space”. we had 128 MB RAM. How much we should intial and maximum page file size. Is there is any formula related to that. Please help me!
