I have a desktop that has Xp home on it. Some auto update caused it to come up only on Safe mode. After trying many things decided to just put XP-pro on it. At the time of installation chose full installation in thinking not to carry all the junk that caused problem on xp-home. After entering the Key for XP-Pro realized that all my applications may be over written if continue, so I quit the installation. But now I have two profiles one for XP home and one for XP-pro. I tried to install XP-pro but it gives error message that a software is not fully installed that I assume it is offering to XP-pro tried to delete as many files I can, It does not let to ge into windows folder, it crashes. So what do I do here? by the way I imaged my HDD before all XP-pro installation.
