Partition Magic contra XP Pro

I have a HD with 2 partitions C: and H: – C do have Windows 2000 installed and H: has XP Pro. The H. partition was too small, so I went into Partitions Magic and destribuated the rest of the HD space into the partitions. Now the XP Pro won’t start up. It starts, but freeze in the “Windows screen”. Could it be a problem with the partition table ? Windows 2000 start without any problems.
